touring

Sassafras available to perform, lecture, and/or teach workshops at your college,  conference, or community organization.  Here’s how you can make that happen!

• Choose possible dates:  Sassafras’ availability varies.  The sooner we can start scheduling, the better!

• Figure out a budget: You will need to cover travel, lodging, and an honorarium.  Sassafras  will try to work with your resources, but you might need to partner with other groups or organizations or do some fundraising.

• Choose a performance: Currently, Sassafras is touring with hir debut novel Roving Pack and lecture/keynote ‘Nobody loves you. Now What? Queer youth homelessness and creating chosen family’

• Choose a workshop (or two): Sassafras offers a range of writing/storytelling workshops.  Choose a couple that best suit the needs of your community.
